This place is mind-blowing! The design is jaw-dropping and the hosts have thought of everything. From the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable bed, this hidden gem has it all. The courtyard garden with a gas BBQ is like an outside room, perfect for watching the sunset over the fields. The owners respect your privacy but are also friendly and accommodating. The welcome pack of goodies was a super surprise, especially as we arrived on a hot Sunday when shops were closed. The location is ideal for exploring Mevagissey, St Austell, and the surrounding beaches. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back!

Free WiFi and terrace are just the cherries on top of this delightful sundae of a holiday home. And speaking of cherries, imagine enjoying the sun on the terrace while sipping a refreshing drink, feeling like you're in your own private garden paradise. It's like having your cake and eating it too!
Dog weight limit—"pawsome" limit.

The cottage was well equipped and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed for our Christmas stay. The welcome basket was a lovely touch, and the Christmas crackers and doggy treats made it feel extra special. The outside courtyard area with the chiminea and comfortable seating was perfect for cozy nights. The location was great for visiting nearby attractions like the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens, and there was a fantastic pub just a short walk away.
We had a few issues during our stay. The bathroom scent in the reed dispenser was a bit overpowering and not to our liking.

The Old Dairy Retreat exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I knew I had stumbled upon a hidden gem. The compact nature of the accommodation didn't bother me at all because it had everything I needed and was incredibly comfortable. The courtyard garden with a gas BBQ felt like an extension of the villa, and I enjoyed watching the sunset from the garden chairs overlooking the fields. Despite the owners living next door, I felt like I had complete privacy and my own space. The welcome pack of biscuits, milk, and tea bags was a thoughtful touch, especially since I arrived on a Sunday when shops were closed. I highly recommend The Old Dairy Retreat for a cozy and delightful stay.
I was initially concerned about the parking space being close to a bend in the road, but it turned out to be fine. I simply got out of the car on the passenger side before parking, ensuring it was as close to the wall as possible.

Free WiFi, perfect for scrolling through social media while lounging on the terrace. Great for cycling enthusiasts, though I preferred to watch others huff and puff while I sipped my tea in the garden. The barbecue was handy for pretending I knew how to grill.
Oh, I just couldn't stand the thought of being so close to the airport. The constant noise of planes landing and taking off was absolutely delightful.
